Elizabeth and Janice were exceptional hosts, providing insider tips and genuine hospitality. the charming room in the Carriage House felt like a private retreat, beautifully decorated and incredibly peaceful. From the cozy fireplace to the comfortable bedding, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Exploring the historic house built in 1910 was a highlight of our trip. the stained glass windows and original features added a touch of grandeur to our experience. the free continental breakfast was a delicious treat each morning, featuring homemade quiches, fresh fruit, and locally-baked pastries. the serene garden and terrace offered a perfect setting to start our day or unwind in the evening. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with tours and ticket assistance available to explore attractions like the Vicksburg Convention Center and the scenic Mississippi River. the safety features provided peace of mind, ensuring a secure and comfortable stay. the proximity to Jackson-Evers Airport made our journey convenient, allowing us to focus on enjoying the charming surroundings of Oak Hall.
